Sandra Elaine Whitaker, 63, of Chattanooga, TN died on Friday, June 18, 2010.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN and was of the Baptist faith. She was a graduate of Kirkman High School class of 1965 and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Jeff Minor; brothers, Mac Minor and Fred Minor; sister, Dovie Schanberg.
Sandra is survived by her children, Randall Lee Minor, of Chattanooga, TN, Jeff Minor, of Ringgold, GA, and Teresa Miller, of Soddy Daisy, TN; sisters, Louise Davis and Martha Minor, both of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, David Minor, of Las Vegas, NV and Roy Minor, of Chattanooga, TN; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Al Eddy officiating.
Interment will be 12:30 p.m. CDT at Beulah's Chapel Cemetery, Sand Mountain, AL.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 all day Sunday, and prior to the service on Monday.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
