CADIZ, Ky. -- Services for Mary Katherine Cossey, 76, of Cadiz will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Ellis officiating. Burial will be at East End Cemetery.
Mrs. Cossey died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church and Ophelia Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are one son, Lloyd Lowenstein of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; two daughters, Debbie Lacy of Snellville, Ga., and Cindy Thompson of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Heather Lacy, Brett Lacy, Zelner Thompson and Layne Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Lowenstein; her second husband, Zelner Cossey; one brother; one sister; and one grandchild. Her parents were Luther L. Wallace and Mirt Crisp Wallace.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
