Angelo, who resided at 822 West Fourth Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class, Company C, 114th Infantry, 79th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on January 14, 1941, prior to the war, in Trenton, New Jersey. He was noted as being Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" in eastern France during the war.

He had served in the Army for four years and two months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
