Vera Gwendoline Stevens, 93, a native of London and a resident of Elberta, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 in Foley.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Meralyn S. Lenz of Elberta and Linda Stevens of Fairhope; two sons, Jim Stevens of Brookwood, and John A. Stevens of Murray, Utah; sister, Ruby Pearce of Cornwall, UK; two brothers, Joe Hulstaert of Wales, UK and Hector Hulstaert of Australia; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Prince of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Elberta.
