MERCEDES,TX. - Ramona Calvillo Webber Guzman,73,
entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 31, 1935. She was an LVN for 36 years in the Rio Grande Valley.
Ramona is preceded in death by her first husband, Amador Webber, Jr. and second husband Jose M. Guzman.
She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Webber Loza Mora and son-in-law, Antonio Mora of Mercedes and a stepson, Tony Guzman of McAllen: three grandchildren, Angela Garza, Monica Michelle Mora and Lawrence Mora.
Also surviving are 4 brothers: Erasmo Garcia, Jr., Elizandro, Everardo and Cesar Garcia, 7 sisters, Maria Elena Caballero, Elida Rodriguez, Angelita Garcia Alonzo, San Juanita Hendricks, Alicia Ortiz, Gloria Flores and Yvonne Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be said today, Thursday at 7 pm at the funeral home chapel. Funeral Mass will be said Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with burial following at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home.
