Randolph Lee ‘R.L.' Buckland
ELYRIA, Ohio — Randolph Lee "R.L." Buckland, 72, of Elyria, Ohio, died June 15, 2010.
He was born March 10, 1938, in Cranberry, West Virginia. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959.
Randolph is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Shirley Ann (nee Thomas); sons, Randall, Robert, Todd, Allen and Raymond; daughters, Deborah Buckland, Edwina Rhodes and Julie Smith; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, David and Donald Buckland; sisters, Sharon Komendera and Gerri Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Rosalie Buckland, and a granddaughter, Beth Ann Rhodes.
Visitation will be Saturday 11:30 a.m. until the time of a 1:30 p.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, where Elyria VFW #1079 will conduct military services.
