Genelle Crim, 85, of Amarillo died Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hilliared Funeral Home Chapel in Van with David Russell officiating. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery in Van by Hilliard Funeral Home. Local arrangements are by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Mrs. Crim was born Nov. 6, 1924, in Van to Annie Ruth and Riley Chester Crim. She was a graduate of Van High School, as well as Draughn's Business College.

She lived in Houston for many years working as an office manager for Humble Oil Co., which became Exxon Oil Co., for more than 40 years. She moved to Amarillo in 2003 to be closer to her family.

Mrs. Crim was an avid bridge player and gardener. She loved her Lord and her family and was always a wonderful caregiver. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Arville "Buster" Crim.

Survivors include a sister, Gene Russell and husband Bob of Amarillo; a brother, Ardine "Pill" Crim of Van; and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who loved her very much.
