He enlisted in the Army on July 14, 1941, prior to the war, in Trenton, New Jersey. He was noted as Single, without dependents.
He was "Killed In Action" in Belgium during the war.
He had served in the Army for three years and two months at the time of his death and was decorated with the ETO Ribbon with six campaign stars and a Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster.
He was originally interred overseas and was later repatriated here on April 28, 1949.
