Brenda Carolyn Devine Sallee, 65, wife of Bobby Gene Sallee died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center. Born November 6, 1944 in Mercer County Brenda was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ella Devine. She was a homemaker. She was also a nurse's aide at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital and with McDowell Home Health. Brenda was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, basket collecting and cooking.
In addition to her husband Brenda is survived by one son: Brent (Patty) Sallee of Harrodsburg, one daughter: Bobbi Dawn (Keith) Rightmyer of Mercer County, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, one sister: Virginia (Glenn) Reynolds of Mercer County and one brother: Curtis (Adelaide) Devine of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Amy Carter Sallee
Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. Robert DeFoor officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Ethan Sallee, Nelson Storie, Matt Storie, Bill Spears, Larry Reed and Keith Rightmyer serving as pallbearers
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Galilean Home Ministries, INC, 712 South Fork Church Road, Liberty, KY 42539
