Mrs. McLain had been making her home at 533 5th St. S. W. She is survived by one son, LaVern, of Oelwein ,and three daughters: Mrs. Thomas Boleyn and Mrs. Gilbert Taylor, Oelwein, and Mrs. Lyle Hyrnan, Brookfield, N. Y. Other survivors are a brother, Florian Destival, Waverly, and four sisters, Mrs. Dale Stone, Independence, Mrs. Edward Olds, Sumnerj Mrs. Wesley Fober, Plainfield, and Mrs. Alvin Taylor, Oelwein. Mrs. McLain was born Oct. 15, 1890, in Hazleton the daughter of E. C. and Mary Lahner Destival. She had lived in Oelwein for the past 35 years."
