No marriage record has been found, but likely married in 1803 in Maryland or Virginia where his wife Susannah Rachel Henderson was from. His first four children were born in Columbiana County before removing to Butler Co, OH in 1812 and in 1824 to Morgan Co, Ill. After the death of his wife in 1858 he married Mrs Elizabeth Beavers. Jacob died six weeks before his son Andrew M. in Sept 1864.
