Preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife, Joan Abbott; three daughters, Sarah Chang and her husband Joe Chang, Emily Abbott and Faith Abbott; grandchildren, Allison Chang and Avery Chang; and brother, Freddie Abbott.
Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in the Chapel, 8011 Douglas Ave., Dallas, Texas 75225, Rev. David H. Knight, officiating, followed by a reception in the Parlor. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
