Milton Junction - Mrs. Dora Rinehart, resident of this area most of her life, died in Mercy hospital at 12:03 a.m. today, her 64th birthday.

The former Dora Louise Sykes, daughter of Tom and Carrie Sykes, was born Dec. 23, 1885, in Janesville. She was graduated from the old Milton Junction high school in 1903, and also from the University of Wisconsin. She taught school seven years in Milton Junction and in Idaho. On Jan. 9, 1914, she was married to Martin W. Rinehart. He was killed in an automobile accident Aug. 4, 1940.

Mrs. Rinehart was active in the Methodist church here and was president of the W.S.C.S. and Martha circle. She was historian of the alumni group of the old high school.

Surviving are two sons, S/Sgt. Don Rinehart, with the army in Cheyenne, Wyo., and Clarence, of Milton Junction; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Wentler, Mrs. Mabel Clement and Mrs. Effie Silbaugh, all of Janesville; two brothers, Charles Sykes, Madison, and Robert Sykes, Milton Junction; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Fish, Janesville, and Mrs. Jennie Hill, Rapid City, S. D., and nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Milton Junction Methodist church, the Rev. R. T. Wilkowske officiating. Burial will be in Milton Junction cemetery. Friends may call at the Gray and Albrecht funeral home Sunday evening and at the Sykes home Monday morning.
