George O., died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992 at Baptist Hospital.
He was born at Watonga, Ok. on Feb. 18, 1924 to O.A. and Ella Cordell. George served in the Army Air Force from 1943 through 1946 during which time he served overseas in the Pacific. A member of the VFW and Putnam City United Methodist Church. He retired as a supervisor at the U.S. Postal Service in July 1979.
He is survived by his son, Norman and wife, Micki of Jacksonville, N.C.; brother, Kenneth of OKC; sister, Lillie Nusz of OKC; and two grandchildren, Kristen and Beth. Graveside services will be Sat., 12/26/92 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Ok. Contact Wilkinson F.H. in Watonga for details.

On March 29, 1945 George married Alta Josephine Boots Palmer in North Carolina, together they had a son named Norman. After they divorced he married Betty W. Ebers in Oklahoma.
