Recent Deaths
PIERSON – Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home for Roy H. Pierson, of Drummond. Rev. Chester O. Burkett will begin the services at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Del Norte Cemetery.
Mr. Pierson died Monday night at the age of 53. He had been an employee of the Frisco railroad for 18 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainsmen. Two years ago he went to live on the farm at Drummond where his father had settled after making the run in 1893.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Marvin of Drummond; George Dudley Pierson, Enid; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Wilson, Oklahoma City.
