Christine Anglin Griffis, 82, of Surrency, Georgia died Saturday, March 7, 2015 after an extended illness. The Donalsonville, Georgia native had lived in Appling County, Georgia for the past twenty years and attended Ephesus Church of God in Bristol, Georgia and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and was the widow of Wilton A. Griffis and also predeceased by her son, Richard Griffis.

Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Gerald Skipper of Ocoee, Florida, Jan and Stanley Skipper of Groveland, Florida,; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Barbara Griffis of Minneola, Florida, Glenn and Marie Griffis of Mascotte, Florida, Robert and Crystal Griffis of Thompsonville, Michigan; three sisters, Marie Widner of Leesburg, Georgia, Mearl Taylor of Sun City, Florida, and Mary Nell Goodson of Covert, Michigan; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hubbs officiating. Interment will be in Big Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:-00 prior to service at the funeral home.
