He loved all sports, especially basketball. His hobby was restoring antique automobiles.
Mr. Butler was a life member of the Elks Lodge. He also was a member of Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he was involved at different times, as church school teacher, elder and deacon.
Survivors include his wife Billie, Klamath Falls; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Thom Radlciffe, Glenda and Marty Boyer and Sherie and Don Hartwell, all Klamath Falls; son, Robert Butler, Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Thomas "Reg" Radcliffe, Margaret Bourgeois, Holly Sabala, Joel Nelson, Darcel Ross, Dawn Wick, and Jayme Hartwell, five great-grandchildren.
