Her father was John Seidel born about 1837 in Bavaria and her mother, Margaret (Vogel) Seidel born about 1847 in Bavaria. 1880 they were living Clinton, Henry County, Missouri.

She was living in Mohler, Lincoln County, WA where she taught school in several Lincoln County, WA towns in the early 1900's. Some of them were Edwall, Sprague, Downs, Mohler, and Odessa.

She married James Hanford Yarwood 27 June 1911 Davenport, Lincoln County, WA.

They lived in Marcus, Stevens County, WA where he was a mortician.

1920 census they are in Stevens County, WA and no children.

In 1930 they moved to Omak, WA where Hanford became associated with his brother Edward Yarwood in a funeral home. She taught kindergarten from 1930 to 1947 in the Omak Schools. Later she had a private kindergarten in her home with final classes in 1954.

She passed away after a long illness.

They had an infant son who died 15 September 1933.
