Survived by his daughter Jamie Cox Benjamin (Michael); one sister, Becky Davis (Jerry); two brothers, Floyd Cox, Jr. (Dale) and Jason Cox (Leann) and several nieces and nephews.
He was laid to rest at the Cahaba Heights Cemetery on June 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service.
