Eula Mae Hewett, 90, of Village Point Road, Shallotte died Monday, July 21, 2008.

Born in Brunswick County on August 24, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Priscilla Watts Leonard, Sr. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband James Fletcher Hewett, brother Robert H. Leonard, Jr. and a sister Lizzie Hewett.

Surviving is her daughter Holly H. Long and husband Donald Caison, Oak Island, NC; five sisters, Alberta (Doot) Dixon, Goldston, NC; Mary Powell, Louise Bennett, Jackie Hardee, and Loretta Wells, all of Shallotte, NC; two grandsons Jeramy Long and wife Karen, and Brandon Long; one great-grand son, Aaron Fletcher Long; and enormous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Village Point United Methodist Church.

The family extends a special "thank you" to Liberty Hospice.
