Mary M. Leslie, 70, of Logansport died at 2:20 pm Saturday in Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been ill for several months and hospitalized for one week.
She was a registered nurse and retired from Logansport State Hospital in 1980. She was a member of Wallace Christian Church. She also graduated from St. Anthony's School of Nursing at Terra Haute.
Mrs. Leslie was born May 15, 1917, at Rockville to Roy and Mary Margaret Murphy Bowman. She was married to William L. Leslie on April 4, 1941, at Logansport. He died Sept. 12, 1986.
Survivors include one sister, Elsie M. Bowman of Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Services are set for 3 pm Tuesday in Sullivan Funeral Home at Camden with Phillip Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 pm today at the funeral home.
