OBITUARY
The Rochester Evening Sentinel

Wednesday, September 14, 1904

Mrs. Sarah A. STURGEON, widow of Martin STURGEON, deceased, died yesterday at the home of her son, Arthur [STURGEON], north of Leiters Ford, at the age of 74 years.

She was the mother of twelve children, ten of whom are living, as follows: Isaac, Gilbert and Enoch [STURGEON] in Missouri; Samuel [STURGEON], in Sullivan county, this state; and Arthur, William, George, Elmer [STURGEON] and Mrs. Martha [STURGEON] FRY and Mrs. Melissa [STURGEON] FRY, all of the old Sturgeon home neighborhood in northeast part of
Aubbeenaubbee township. Both the deceased and her husband were widely known and useful citizens and she was a devout member of the Protestant M.E. church.

The funeral occurs Thursday forenoon at Mt. Hope church and burial at Mt. Zion.
