Requiem high mass will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Pattrick, Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph I. McHugh as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
The rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Marshall-Herring Chapel.
Walden was born in Prescott on Oct. 27, 1893 and attended Milton schools. He also attended Columbia College in Milton. On Sept. 19, 1932 he married Louise Daffis in Walla Walla. In the early 40's he went to work for the Corps of Engineers as an accountant. He retired in 1958. Walden was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, The American Legion Post 32, Marcus Whitman Barracks 135, and B.P.O.Elks 287 of Walla Walla.
Walden is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Walden at home and two sisters, Miss Mary C. Walden and Miss Anna Walden, both of Milton-Freewater.
