Son of Amedeo R. Marconi and Amalia Crescenti Marconi.

Arnold, who resided at 1906 West Sixth Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private with the 26th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on July 19, 1944 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted as being employed as a Sales Clerk and also as Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" in Luxembourg during the war.

He had served in the Army for six months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
