Mary Love (Spears) Winegar was the wife of Philip Winegar.
They farmed in Westgate, Iowa and raised two families. Philip and his first wife, Susan Starr, had 4 children; The "twins", James H. and Amos, and Clark & Fannie. Susan died (at a young age) when the twins were 9. Philip and his second wife, Mary Love, had 4-5 more children. Roy, Dorr, Ralph, and George and Roena.
As young men, the "twins", James H. and Amos traveled to So. Dak. (Wessington Springs) and homesteaded there. Their sister, Fannie remained with her stepmother and father in Iowa. Their brother, Clark, died a few years after his mother's (Susan Starr's) death.
