In 1898 her family moved to Davenport which was thereafter her home. She was a member of the Lagrange, Indiana Methodist Church and Epworth League in 1892. She was church organist at Harrington and Davenport for 50 years. She joined the Davenport Methodist Church and Woman's Society of Christian Service, the Fortnightly Study club and was librarian of the Davenport Public Library for 29 years.
She had a heart attack and died at her home in Davenport.
