Bradley — Horace S. Bradley, 87, former supervisor of Covington, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Allen Wallace in Piffard on Monday, March 30.
He was born in Pavilion on June 10, 1876 the son of William Bradley and Fannie Bradley. He was married to Lena J. Holbrook on Feb. 28, 1906. She died Jan. 17, 1964. Mr. Bradley lived in Covington until his retirement in 1951. Then they moved to Caledonia until September of 1963 when they made their home with their daughter, Mrs. Wallace in Piffard.
He was a member of the Pavilion Methodist Church, of which he was an honorary trustee. He was a 50 year member of the Wyoming Grange. Mr. Bradley had served as supervisor of Covington and was trustee of the Pavilion Center Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wallace, Miss Esther Bradley of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Robert Simpson of Warsaw; a son, Stewart Bradley of Pavilion; a sister, Miss Bertha Bradley of Pavilion; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends may call at the Wallace home, Peoria Road from where services will be held Thursday, April 2 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. William Reeder of the Pavilion Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Pavilion Center Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Pavilion Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
