Graveside services for Charlotte Litchfield Calhoun, 95, of Hopkinsville, were held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with The Rev. Chris Page officiating. Burial followed in Green Hill Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Calhoun passed away 10:25 PM Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Mrs. Calhoun was born September 28, 1914 in Cadiz, the daughter of the late Ed and Gracie Alexander Litchfield. She retired as a sales clerk from JC Penney and was a member of Julien Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years W. Martin Calhoun Sr.
Survivors include two sons, William M. "Billy" Calhoun Jr. and Earl L. Calhoun both of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Donations maybe made to the Friendship House at 2310 Faulkner Dr. Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
