"Son of Clark & Mary F. Kinzer."
==============
Mrs. Henry Mayberry, of Sawdust Valley, recently a telegram Thursday night to the effect that her son Emmett H. Kinzer was dead at Kansas City, and asking for information as to the disposition of the remains. The authorities were wired to ship them to Columbia and they are expected to arrive Sunday or Monday, and burial will take place at Mt. Nebo. Emmett Kinzer was the son of the late Clark Kinzer, who died several years ago, and whose widow married Henry Mayberry, all of Sawdust Valley. He was 34 years of age and had been away from this county for some time. The telegram contained no information as to the manner of his death, but the relatives are of the opinion that it was of sudden and unexpected nature, as his mother, Mrs. Mayberry, received a letter from him dated the 7th that he might be home in a few days to spend the winter, and she just answered the letter and retired Thursday night when the fateful message arrived. Mrs. Mayberry is about 60 years of age, in feeble health and is prostrated by the news of the death of son. -- Columbia Herald, 17 Nov. 1911.
