MRS. WARNKE

Mrs. Pearl Cook Warnke, formerly of 43 N. Military Road, and a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, died Sunday, July 2, 1989.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Rev. Marvin Putz of Redeemer Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born April 10, 1903, in Missouri, a daughter of Riley and Della Farmer. On Sept. 4, 1919, she married Charles Cook and they moved to Oakfield in 1927. He preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 1943. On Oct. 5, 1946, she married Henry Warnke and they resided in Fond du Lac. He also preceded her in death on Sept. 9,1976.

Survivors include three sons, Lester Cook of Oakfield, William Cook of Brownsville, and Charles Cook of Wellington, Colo.; five daughters, Mrs. Ann Guelzow of Oakfield, Mary Scharf and her husband Herbert of Fond du Lac, Ella Mae Ray and her husband Lester of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mrs. Idella McKay of Lighthouse Point, Fla., and Pearl Jeanne Shupert and her husband John of Elkhart, Ind.; one daughter-in-law, Janet Vermeer and her husband Jack of Waupun; one son-in-law, Frank Conger; grandchildren; great and great-great-grandchildren; one stepson, Lyle Warnke of Big Lake, Minn.; four stepdaughters, Dyphna Reehl and her husband John of Murphys, Calif., Joyce Meyers and her husband James of Fond du Lac, Shirley Stanford and her husband John of Isle, Minn., and Barbara Brummond and her husband Kenneth of Mayville; step grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Bab of Dexter, Mo.; and two brothers, Robert Farmer of San Diego, Calif., and Hubert Farmer of Kennett, Mo.

Preceding her in death were one son, Robert Cook; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Charlotte) Conger; two sons-in-law, Wilbur Guelzow and William Kundo; one step-daughter, Mrs. Joel (Adeline) Cammerman; one stepson, Lester Warnke; one step-son-in-law, Louis Schraufnagel; four brothers, Ernes, Jack, Lester and John Farmer; one sister Maydeanne Thomas; and three great-grandchildren.
