James Donald Halbach, age 20, passed away at Fort Leonard Wood MO at 1:20 p.m. Friday. He was born in Sherwood, Oct. 5, 1945 and attended Sacred Heart School, Sherwood, St. Mary's High School, Menasha and Whitewater State Teacher's College. He was employed with the Highway 55 Auto Service, Kaukauna until he entered service on Nov. 15. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his parents Mr & Mrs Ray Halbach, Sherwood; five brothers: Ray, Jr, Sherwood; William, Menasha; Donald, Kaukauna; Alphonse, Sheboygan; Capt. Eugene, Sherwood; five sisters: Sister Margaret Mary, Green Bay; Mrs Adrian (Lucille) Mader, Sherwood; Mrs Leo (Jeanette) Ott, Forest Junction; Mrs Norbert (Rosemary) Propson, Chilton; Mrs Olson, Menasha.
