Tommy J. "Tom" Horath, 59, of Sullivan, died 1:15 a.m. Friday (December 7, 2007) in the Kindred Hospital, Sycamore, Illinois.
Celebration of Life Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with the Pastor Joe Bowman officiating. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the French Cemetery, Allenville. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Tom was born January 2, 1948 in Mattoon, the son of Clarence and Freda Fleshner Horath. He was retired from Brach Candy Company and was a member of the Heartland Community Church, Decatur. Tom married Patricia Jack on August 9, 1970 in Sullivan.
Surviving are his wife, Pat of Sullivan; sons, Matt Horath of Bloomington, Eric Horath of Bethany, Ryan Horath of Gurnee; mother, Freda Bridges of Sullivan; brother, Earl Horath of Sullivan and grandchildren, Ashlyn and Logan Horath of Bethany.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Wayne.
