PAULINE HATHAWAY [MEADOR] ANGLE ~ (1 June 1920~18 July 2011)

Pauline H. Angle, 91, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at her home following a long illness.

Born June 1, 1920 at Sprague W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Lundy Meador and Myrtle [Lane] Meador.

She retired as a correctional officer from the West Virginia Prison for Women at Pence Springs, West Virginia and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Springfield Primitive Baptist Church in Greenville, W.Va. She lived most of her life in Summers County and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her husband French Angle in 1976; infant son, Robert French Angle; sisters, Imogene Starks, Joyce Ann McClure and Claudine Pettrey; a granddaughter Sherri Campbell Burnett; and a son-in-law Howard "Sonny" Campbell.

Survivors, son Eddie Angle; daughters, Shirley Campbell, Norma Crum (husband David); nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Elder Tony Pack officiating. Burial in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery at Red Sulphur Springs., West Virginia.
