Dorothy Faye Long, 99, of ElDorado,died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Lakepoint Nursing Facility in Eldorado. Graveside services will be at 10am. Thursday June 17, 2010, at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
She was born on January 5, 1911 in Fredonia, the daughter of John W. and Carrie E. Hoover Hedrick. Dorothy was a homemaker and had lived in Towanda and ElDorado since 1944. She loved to cook, fish and go camping.
On December 30, 1944 she was married to Frank Donald Long in ElDorado. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Those who survive are: two daughters, Alberta Knowles of Towanda, Ks, and Alta Beal of Iberia, Mo; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
