Reuben, who resided at Route 1, Laurel, Delaware, served as a Sergeant, Company C, 114th Infantry, 44th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army of February 27, 1942 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was noted as being employed as a Farm Hand and as being Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" in Belgium during the War.

He had served in the Army for three years at the time of his death and was awarded the Purple Heart.
