Ollie (French) Jordan
Oct 11, 1901 - May 30, 1930

Alliance Hall News.
Word was received here late Friday afternoon of the death of Mrs. Ollie Jourden, who died suddenly at her home near Emmett.

She was the daughter of Mrs. Gardner French of this Community.

Mrs. Jourden was raised among us and our entire community was saddened to hear of her death.

On May 30, 1930, the Death Angel visited the home of Mr. George Jordon and took from him his loving wife, Mrs. Ollie Jordon. It was so hard to give her up but God knows best.

Ollie was a true Christian, always ready to help any one in need.

She was married October 4, 1920 to George Jordon.

To this union four children were born Dortha, Brewster and Jaunita one child dying in infancy.

To the broken-hearted husband and mother: Weep not for sheis at rest with Jesus. To her family Ollie was ever faithful and true.

To know her was to love her.

The home will be dark and lonely without her, but strive to live a life to meet her on that bright and happy shore.

Ollie had been sick only a short time, her death came as a shock to the entire community.

Beside her husband and children, she leaves a broken-hearted mother, Mrs. Dezzie French, four brothers and three sisters, Virce, Cecile, Rankin and Rodney French, Mrs. George Putman, Mrs. Leo Hubbard and Miss Florence French.

She was laid to rest in Emmett cemetery.

A loved one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is still.
A chair is vacant in our home.
Which never can be filled.

She is safe in the arms of Jesue,
In that land so fair,
Weep not dear ones, obey God's rules,
Some day you'll meet her there.
