He was born May 4, 1917 in Tooele, Utah, the son of John Alfred Lindberg and Effie Susanna Dunn.

Paul served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a certified public accountant and was employed by Norbest Inc. for 32 years. Paul was Vice President, Treasurer at his retirement in 1979.

Paul and Elva served as missionaries in the Liberty Stake and in the Canada, Vancouver Mission serving in British Columbia. While a member of the Mountain View First Ward, Hillside Stake, he served in many positions including counselor in the Bishopric, Stake clerk, and High Priest Group instructor. He sang in the Ward Choir for many years.
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend was an example of integrity, responsibility, faith, and love. Paul loved to play golf with his friends, and especially with Elva.

The family thanks the Nephrology and Dialysis teams at the University of Utah, particularly Dr. Christoph Westenfelder and Janet Mueller. A special thanks to the drivers of the Salt Lake County Aging Services for their extraordinary help.
