The Lamar County Echo, March 1979. 'Mrs. R. P. Denman, 95, formerly of 1533 Lamar Avenue, died Sunday. February 25, 1979, in a local hospital. Graveside services were held Monday, February 26 at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Felix Keys of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arriangements.

Ola Annis Kelso Denman was born October 25, 1883, in Bartlett, daughter of Reid and Leona Parker Kelso. She moved to Paris in 1917 from Belton. She married R. P. Denman, who preceded her in death. The family operated the old Denman Music Store in Paris for a number of years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jack Siebenthall of Paris; two sons, Jack W. Denman of Paris and W. P. Denman of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.'
