Mr. Kimberly was born August 26, 1882, in Oliver Township, Miffin County, a son of George S. and Mary (Brindle) Kimberly. He was married to Gertrude J. Horning who survives.
Surviving are the following, daughter and sons: Mrs. Donald (Anna Mary) Fries of Altoona, George W. Kimberly of Altoona, Raymond E. Kimberly of McVeytown, R.D., and Jack L. Kimberly of Columbia Station, Ohio.
There are 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following brother and sisters: Mrs. William (Carrie) Harshbarger, Mattawanna; Grover C. Kimberly, Lewistown; Mrs. Mabel Long, Selinsgrove; John R. Kimberly, Mount Union; Mrs. Roy (Belle) Rhodes, McVeytown and Mrs. Wayne (Gretta) Appleby, Ryde.
He worked with the Pennsylvana Railroad for 30 years before he retired. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church at McVeytown.
Interment will be made in the Mattawana Cemetery.
