Orangeburg - Mike Sallet [Salley] Boltin, 85, a retired farmer, died Monday at Orangeburg Regional Hospital. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Mr. Boltin was born in Cope, son of the late Evans and Julia Adams Boltin. He was a Baptist. Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Ruth Walton Boltin; four daughters, Mrs. Eugene Wise and Miss Allanese Boltin, both of Cordova, Mrs Inez Hutto of Orangeburg, and Mrs. Clayton Strange; two sons, Doyle Boltin of Columbia, and Marion Boltin of Charlotte, N.C.; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 21 Dec 1971
