He was preceded in death by his mother, Lupe Arroyo and father, Tony Arroyo of Barstow.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Maria Arroyo; his sons and daughters, Tony Arroyo Jr. of Victorville, Jacque and Louie Chavez of Barstow, Joe and Crystal of Barstow, Isaac Arroyo of Rancho Cucamonga; grandchildren, Lori and Loni Chavez of Barstow, Jacob Arroyo and Taira Martinez of Victorville, Caleb and Camaron Arroyo of Barstow, Isaac Arroyo of Rancho Cucamonga; siblings, Vangie Wetmore of Pontiac, Mich., Rosalinda Flores and her husband, Teddy of Barstow, Raul Arroyo of Apple Valley, Ray Arroyo and his wife, Elaine of Barstow, Michael Gaines, and his wife, Hiromi of Okinawa, Japan; and also leaves behind many nephews and nieces.
Tony was born and raised in Barstow. He was 61 years young.
He was employed with Santa Fe for 41 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, playing golf after work with his friends and family, and spending time outdoors in the desert.
