Esther Boncille Chapline JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - "Bonnie" Chapline, 85, of Jacksonville, Fl passed away April 4, 2009 at Trinity Hospital, Augusta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Delauder Chapline, Jr. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Fl, a graduate of Lee High School, and a retired nurse from Wesley Manor. She was a charter member of Mandarin Presbyterian Church. Bonnie's life was devoted to her husband and family. She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Chapline Butt, a son-in-law, Nixon Butt, a son, Michael Chapline, daughter- in-law, Ginia Chapline; her grandchildren, Adair Butt Smith and her husband, Tyler Smith, Dr. Allison Butt, Abigail Butt, Jonathan Chapline, and Warren Chapline. She is also survived by two great-grandsons, Conrad & Coleman Smith, and a sister, Juanita Davis. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2 pm in Oak Lawn Cemetery, (Jacksonville, FL) with the Rev. Kevin Pound officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Mandarin Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise Assisted Living for their loving care for her during her battle with Alzheimer's disease.
