The funeral for E. M. "Mack" Fletcher, Jr., 67 of Quitman, who died Saturday, June 13, 1992 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman; was held Tuesday morning at Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla.
Elder Elliott Tucker was the presiding minister at the 11:00 chapel service and interment followed in the Frank Cemetery, Irwin County. Music was provided by Andi McWhorter, organist and Kim Holwell, soloist.
Pallbearers were Danny Coley, Wesley Marsh, Plyde Marsh, Walter Sumner, Troy Fletcher and Alton Boatright.
Born August 12, 1924 in Irwin County, Mr. Fletcher was the son of the late Ennis McClellan Fletcher, Sr. and Winnie Wages Fletcher. A retired G. E. appliance dealer and Gulf Life Insurance sales representative, he had lived in Irwin county most of his life. He had resided in Quitman for the past six years, moving from Ocilla. A U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II, he was a member of Frank Primitive Baptist Church.
