The funeral for Mrs. Minnie Blackburn will be Saturday, June 5, 2004, at First Baptist Church of Rogersville at 10 a.m. The casket will lie in state from 9:30 until service time. Bertis Ray will officiate, and burial will follow at Civitan Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her son, George Thomas Blackburn Jr., of Rogersville; daughter, Annette Marie Woods and husband, David, of Killen; three grandchildren, Brian Blackburn, Kylie Jones and Matthew Woods; and two great-grandchildren.
