Funeral services for Everett Kern Enlow, 83, of English, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Denbo Funeral Home in English with burial to follow in Taswell Cemetery. He died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at his home.

He was a Navy veteran and served aboard USS Sturgis during World War II. He was a lifelong member of VFW Post 6160 in English and American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville. He was retired as a research engineer at the old International Harvester Co. in Louisville. He attended the English Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include a wife, Wilma [McDonald] Enlow; a son, Steve Enlow, of New Albany; sisters, Juanita Davis, of Palmyra, and Margie Hollen, of Taswell; grandchildren, Brian and Brent Enlow; and a friend, Pat Highfill, of Eckerty.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosanna Hooper; a sister, Geneva Ruth; a grandson, Daniel Hopper.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
