Andrew J. Bower, 72. died at his home near here Sunday, Dec. 21. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 23 at Wood Funeral Home by Rev. Joe Falls and Rev Elbert Yeatts with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Susan Gilenwalters Bower, Floyd; two daughters, Mrs. G. Buren Lawson. Floyd and Mrs. H. L. Trent, Roanoke; one son, Clifford Bower of Floyd; six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
