Fairhaven -- Jennie (Kirklewski) Norris, 89, of Fairhaven, died Thursday, May 31,2001, at Alden Court Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the widow of Robert R.Norris; they were married nearly 69 years.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joseph and Ludwika "Louise" (Gonet) Kirklewski, she lived in Fairhaven for most of her life.
Mrs. Norris graduated from New Bedford High School and was employed as a supervisor for Aerovox Co. in New Bedford for more than 12 years.
She was a communicant of St.Mary's Church in Fairhaven, where she was a member of the Seniors Group.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan M.Dupre of North Dartmouth and Roberta E.Viera of Portsmouth, R.I.; two sons, Richard J.Norris of Tucson, Ariz., and John C.Norris of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, Victor "Chuck" Kirk of Miami; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Eugene Kirklewski and Walter Kirk.
Her Mass will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St.Mary's Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery, arrangemaents are by the Fairlawn Home of Sullivan-Waribg, 189 Washington St.
