He lived in the Walnut Ridge and Jonesboro area most of his life. He worked in construction, was a truck driver and was of the Baptist belief. Ronnie loved woodworking and electronics.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela McLaughlin; his mother, Mamie Louise McLaughlin of Hoxie; two sons, Ronnie McLaughlin Jr. of Trumann and Josh McLaughlin of Pocahontas; a daughter, Felicia McLaughlin of Trumann; two brothers, Johnny McLaughlin of Trumann and Terry McLaughlin of Jonesboro; two sisters, Tammy McLaughlin of Jonesboro and Phyllis Stayton of Trumann; and two grandchildren, Olen Ealy and Libby Bird.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard McLaughlin; a son, Jeffrey McLaughlin; and a sister, Darlene McLaughlin.
A graveside service was in Philadelphia Cemetery near Jonesboro.
