Funeral services for Bruce Alan Adams, of Summit, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street, with burial in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and again Saturday from noon until time of services.

Mr. Adams, 49, died June 9, 2010, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, Tenn. He was born on Oct. 3, 1960.

He was a construction contractor and a member of First Baptist Church in Summit.

Preceding him in death was his father, Marshall William Adams, of Summit.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Mae Bracy Adams; his wife, Lisa Adams, of Summit; his sons, Chris Adams and wife, Dana, of Savannah, Tenn., and Alan Adams, of Summit; his daughters, Stephanie LaMance, of Parsons, Tenn., and Gracy Adams, of Summit; his stepchildren, Beverly and Aaron, of Summit; his children at heart, Chris Colemon and Ryan Johnson, both of Savannah, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Jake and Hunter Adams, of Savannah, Tenn., and Lizzy LaMance, of Parsons, Tenn.; his brother, Jason Adams, of Summit; his sisters, Marshia Boyd and husband, Mike, and Deborah Erwin and husband, Bob, all of Summit, and Carmelia Renner and husband, Robert, of Brookhaven.
