ADAM WORM, 91, of 3036 Pineview Drive, Traverse City, a former Hannah resident, died early Wednesday afternoon at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City after a short illness.
A funeral mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hannah St. Mary's Church, Rev. Fr. Robert Bissot celebrant, with burial in the church cemetery.
Rosaries will be recited at 8 o'clock this evening and Friday evening at Smith funeral home in Kingsley.
Mr. Worm was born February 20, 1878 at Sandusky, O. and at an early age moved with his parents to the Hannah area. He was a member of Hannah St. Mary's Church and was a farmer for many years before moving to Traverse City in 1955.
In 1902 he was married to MARY STEIN[E]BACH, who died September 14, 1955. A son, JOSEPH, died on July 28, 1944, while serving with the U.S. Army.
Surviving are; seven sons, JULIUS of Grand Rapids, ISADORE of Muskegon, AMBROSE of Kingsley, HAROLD of Vassar, and EUGENE, BERNARD, and KENNETH of Traverse City; three sisters [daughters], MRS. LORAINE YANSKI of Traverse City, MRS. PAUL (LOUISE) FRISCH of Saginaw, and MRS. CARL (MARY) REVETT of Traverse City; 31 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; two brothers, LAWRENCE and CORNELIUS, both of Traverse City; two sisters, MRS. JOSEPHINE UMLOR of Kingsley and MRS. JOHN (CECELIA) DEFER of Traverse City; and many other relatives.
